Biography

Megan recently joined Leaf Realtors after working with their office to find a house in her husband’s hometown of Chester, New Jersey. Having lived in Hackettstown, Long Valley, Tewksbury, and Chester, Megan draws from her personal knowledge of communities in both Hunterdon and Morris counties to help clients find the right neighborhood for them to call home. Raising school-age children in the area gives Megan a unique understanding of what matters to both individuals and families interested in settling down in Northwestern New Jersey.

After marrying her college sweetheart in 2004, Megan relocated to New Jersey to start and raise her family in the Garden State. As a former attorney and lobbyist, Megan’s professional style, outgoing personality and attention to detail gives buyers confidence when purchasing a home. Having been through the process personally (more than a few times) Megan understands the stress, anxiety, and difficulties that home buyers and sellers can experience in a transaction. Megan’s straightforward manner and proactive approach help buyers and sellers understand their best options in an ever-changing real estate market.

Growing up in New England, Megan graduated cum laude from Suffolk University Law School in Boston after earning her B.A. in Anthropology from George Washington University. After receiving her J.D., Megan returned to Washington DC, working as a dedicated lobbyist for a non-profit organization. Prior to her career in real estate, Megan wore many hats working with her husband in their family-owned lawn and garden company. After her positive experience working with Leaf, Realtors to find her family a “forever” home, Megan jumped at the opportunity to join the like-minded team at Leaf Realtors.

Together with her husband, James, and three children, Megan enjoys visiting her husband’s family in Sicily, traveling throughout Europe, improving her green thumb in both her yard and vegetable gardens, volunteering in her children’s schools, and learning how to cook from her mother-in-law.

Megan is a member of the Garden State Multiple Listing Service (GSMLS), the National Association of Realtors® (NAR), New Jersey Realtors (NJ Realtors), and the CORE Association of Realtors.
